This recipe is for 2 persons.
Ingredients Required:
1) Chawli - 250 grams
2) Haldi
3) Salt
4) Rai
5) Little coconut
Preparation:
Cut chawli in small pieces.
After washing nicely, the same can be put in a vessel.
Take a frying pan or kadai.
Put 2 spoons of oil in it and half spoon rai in it.
Once the rai bursts, put 1/2 or one red chilli and then the chawli in it.
Add salt and 1/4 spoon of Haldi.
After mixing well, close the kadai with lid.
Chawli will get cooked in the steam.
After cooked, little water may be added.
Grate coconut and grind green chililies 1 or 2 coarsely with the coconut.
The same may be added to the Chawli.
Mix well and Chawli bhaji is ready.
This same process of making bhaji can be applied for making beans, gawar or kothorangai, Avarkai bhaji as well.
