Simple Recipe to make Cabbage Molguttal

 Cabbage Molguttal is a salty liquid dish to be eaten with rice or dosas or chapattis.


Ingredients:

1) Cabbage - 2 cups finely chopped

2) Coconut scraped - 1 cup

3) Moong Dal - 1/4 cup

4) Urad Dal - 1 spoon

5) Dry Red Chillies - 1 or 2

6) Turmeric powder - 1 spoon

7) Salt - 1 or 2 spoons


Preparation:

Cook the dal, mash it lightly, and keep it separate.

Cook the chopped cabbage with salt and turmeric powder

Heat a small frying pan with a little oil and roast the Ural dal and red chillies until the dal turns brown.

Even black pepper can be used instead of red chillies.

Grind the fried ural dal, red chillies, cumin seeds, and coconut into a smooth paste by adding water.

Now add cooked dal to cooked cabbage, let it boil and mix it well and add the coconut paste. 

Once boiled, mix well and then remove the cabbage molguttal from the gas.

Put kadka of mustard seeds and curry leaves.

Your Cabbage Molguttal is ready.
