Avial is a salt dish that includes different types of vegetables. This recipe serves 4 people.
Ingredients:
1) White pumpkin - 100 grams
2) Red pumpkin - 100 grams
3) Suran - 100 grams
4) Raw bananas - 2 Nos.
5) Snake guard (Podwal) - 100 grams
6) Drum sticks - 2
7) Chawli little if required
8) Carrot if required
9) Buttermilk thick or curd - 1/2 litre
10) Half coconut grated
11) 3-4 Green chillies
12) Curry leaves
13) Salt for taste
14) Haldi - 1/2 spoon
Preparation:
Cook all the above-mentioned vegetables in little water that submerges them all and after half-cooked, add buttermilk and let the same be cooked in the buttermilk along with salt, haldi, and curry leaves.
Once cooked well, add the grated coconut with green chillies as a fine paste from the mixer.
Mix well and also pour 2 to 3 spoons of oil in it (coconut or cooking oil).
Avial is ready.
