Semiya Upma Vermicelli is a salt snack item. This recipe serves 1 person.
Ingredients Required:
Semiya - 1 cup
Green chillies
Ginger chopped
Onions
Kadipatta
Rai
Hing powder
Ghee
Ulat dal
Preparation:
Roast Semiya nicely brown and keep it aside.
Now in kadai, put cooking or til oil 2 or 3 spoons.
Put the Rai once hot.
When the Rai bursts, add the green chillies, kadipatta, ginger, and onions (if required).
Mix them well and then add 2.5 cups of water.
Add salt for taste along with hing powder.
Add the Semiya when the water is boiling, stir well, and close with a lid.
Keep the gas slow.
After mixing well, add ghee to the Semiya.
Semiya Upma is ready.
