Semiya Sheera is a sweet snack item. This recipe serves 1 person.
Ingredients Required:
Semiya - 1 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Ghee - 1/4 cup
Elaichi powder
Orange color if required
Preparation:
Roast the Semiya nicely on a slow flame of gas and keep it aside.
Add 2 cups of water and add the semiya to be cooked on slow gas.
Put ghee, elaichi powder, and orange color, and keep stirring well.
Once the semiya is cooked, add sugar and mix well.
Keep stirring for some time in between.
In ghee roast, add raisins, and cashew nuts and the same may be put in Semiya.
Semiya Sheera is ready.
