Simple Recipe to make Jeera Rice

Jeera Rice is a Salt item. This recipe is for 1 person.


Ingredients Required:

1) Rice 1 cup of 100 grams

2) Ghee - 4 to 5 spoons

3) Jeera - 1 to 2 spoons

4) Pepper - 1/2 spoon

5) Curry leaves - 5 to 6

6) Salt to taste


Preparation Steps:

Keep 1 cup of 100 grams of Rice washed with water.

In kadai, put 3 to 4 spoons of Ghee.

Add Jeera and Pepper.

After some time, slowly add the washed rice that is kept soaked for half an hour.

Now add 2 or 2.5 cups of water and put salt and stir it.

Close the lid.

After a few minutes, open, stir and close the lid till the rice is cooked.

Keep gas slow.

Jeera rice is ready.
