Rava Upma is a salt snack item. This recipe serves 1 person.
Ingredients Required:
1) Rava 1/2 cup (100 grams)
2) Green chilies
3) Kadi patta
4) Ginger
5) Hing powder
6) Ghee
7) Rai
Preparation Steps:
Roast the Rava for 5 to 10 minutes.
Once roasted, remove from fire or gas.
Now keep kadai on gas.
Put 2 or 3 spoons of cooking oil (Til oil preferably).
Once hot, put half a spoon of Rai in the oil.
Also, add chana dal, and ulat dal if required.
Once the Rai bursts, put chopped ginger, green chilies, kadi patta, curry leaves, and salt.
After mixing, pour water 3 times Rava preferably hot.
Once boiled, add the Roasted Rava and keep on stirring.
Add a little Hing powder and 1 spoon of Ghee.
Mix well and close with the lid for a few minutes in slow gas.
Upma is ready.
