1) "Dussehra" also known as "Vijaya Dashami", is one of the most important festivals celebrated in various forms around the world. Dussehra stands for Dus (ten) and Hara (conquer). Ravana is shown as a demon with ten heads so Dussehra symbolizes the conquest of ten vices of which four are in men and five in women. These five vices are viz: lust, anger, greed, attachment, and ego.
Meaning - The importance of the festival of Dussehra is explained. Ravana symbolizes the negativity within us in the form of bad habits that we need to overcome.
2) I can revisit anything except temptation - Oscar Wilde
Meaning - Temptation should be kept at bay and not thought or practiced about again and again to lead a good life.
3) George Bernard Shaw- We are made with not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibilities of our future.
Meaning - We need to focus on the future if we really want to create something meaningful in life. We need not get bogged down by the past memories - be it good or bad.
4) Joke - Jackson: What did the stamp say to the envelope?
Mavis: I don't know. What did it say?
Jackson: Just stick with me and we will go places together.
Meaning - A sweet conversation between an envelope and stamp that says how being together helped them explore different places together. It is similar to teamwork or unity in a family.
5) Ronald Reagan - Peace is not absence of conflict. It is the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means.
Meaning - Being at peace doesn't mean there is absence of troubles. Instead, peace is the skill to manage problems in a friendly manner.
