Meaning - A funny joke in which Jo misunderstands a man's hunger for food.

Friendship was another illusion like love, though it did not reach the same mad heights. People pretended that they were friends, when the fact was they were brought together by force of circumstances.
Meaning - We become friends with strangers due to the situations that life puts us into. It is just that friendship has less madness involved than love.
4) Zig Zagler - You cannot climb the ladder of success dressed in the costume of failure.
Meaning - You need to dress like a successful person and you will soon be able to forget past failures.
5) Marina Tsvetaeva's poem
And soon all of us will sleep under the Earth, we who never let each other sleep above it.
Meaning - Death means the body and mind are finally put to a peaceful sleep below the Earth. However, people when they are alive don't let others sleep on the Earth forgetting that one day everyone dies.
