1) There is no harm in flattery as long as you don't inhale.
Meaning: There is no problem when someone over-praises you for no reason. But if your ego size increases because of flattery, then there will be a nuisance.
2) It is much easier to be critical than to be correct.
Meaning: One can easily criticize small things instead of correcting them for the greater good.
3) Men blush less for their crimes than for their weaknesses and vanity.
Meaning: When a man blushes, it is more for hiding his fault and arrogance. Blushing cannot come naturally for hiding crimes or sins.
4) There are a lot of things money can't buy. For instance, what it did ten years ago.
Meaning: Money also has its own limitations as it cannot go back to the past and buy stuff.
5) A husband is a person, who is under the impression, he bosses the house - when in reality, he only houses the boss.
Meaning: A wife is the actual boss of the house and her husband is only under the wrong belief about being the house's boss. In fact, he is only working hard for the needs of his wife who rules the house.
