1) He has the right to criticize, who has the heart to help.
Meaning: A helpful person who always assists others during their needy times has the liberty to even find the scope of improvement for his and others' well-being.
2) The greatest test of courage on earth is to bear defeat without losing heart.
Meaning: When we fail at something, how well we bounce back without fear or shame is what determines how strong we are.
3) A long life may not be good enough, but a good life is long enough.
Meaning: A person living for many years with a lot of troubles does not achieve life's satisfaction as much as a person leading a good life achieves in a short span.
4) Don't let yesterday use up too much of today.
Meaning: One shouldn't allow past mistakes or troubles to influence the present times that design the future.
5) Young men think old men are fools, but old men knew young men are fools.
Meaning: It is a funny saying wherein today's youngsters think that senior people don't know anything and are fools. However, as old people evolved from different stages of their lives, they are already aware that during their young age, how they used to be fools to have the same perspective on older generations.
