Easy Recipe to make Sheera

Sheera is a sweet snack item. This recipe serves 1 person.


Ingredients Required:

1) Rava - 100 grams of 1 cup

2) Sugar

3) Ghee

4) Elaichi

5) Milk (if you want)

6) Saffron (if you want)

7) Cashew nuts (kaju)

8) Raisins (kismis)


Steps to make Sheera:

Take 1 cup of Rava of 100 grams and roast for 10 to 15 minutes till an aroma flavor or brownish color appears.

Now add 3 times (cups) water preferably hot to Rava and let it cook.

Add sugar same quantity or 1.5 (one and a half) cups and mix it well to keep on stirring.

Add 3 to 4 spoons of Ghee.

Now roast Kaju, kismis in Ghee and put in the sheera.

Also, Elaichi has to be added.

If saffron is required, then you put one spoon of milk and add the same to sheera while stirring.

Now close the lid and keep for 2 minutes and then the Sheera is ready.
