1) Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion, for every opinion now accepted was once eccentric.
Meaning: It is okay if your opinion is considered strange or unconventional because every view that is celebrated now, was earlier opposed and considered irrational.
2) The water is clear, pure, and fresh and it is for all to drink. But clever people began to bottle the water, some in ugly bottles, some in beautiful bottles with no regard to the water, but with great care to the shape.
Meaning: Water is our natural resource that has always been clean and fresh but because of some selfish people’s motives who got into the water-selling business, water got divided into beautifully designed bottles of mineral water, pure water, boiled water, nutritional water, etc. However, such companies were concerned more about the shape of the water bottles rather than giving respect to the water’s quality.
3) Even if good manners may be just like hot air, they enable us to go over the rough spots of life, smoothly and with much less pain.
Meaning: Good-mannered people are often made fun of and considered naïve in this fast-moving society. But it is often those good values and ethics that help such righteous people to overcome the tough phases of their lives without any major suffering.
4) Throw a lucky man into the sea and he will return with a fish in his mouth.
Meaning: A lucky man is not lucky because of his fortune but because of his smartness. He knows to even find an opportunity during crisis times.
5) From listening comes wisdom and from speaking repentance.
Meaning: When you listen to someone carefully and sincerely, you will gain the wisdom that is most valuable. But when you only speak and do not listen to the other party, you will feel guilty and repent your decision of speaking without thinking properly.
